Black Label: Estate Blend Reserve & Cabernet Franc Reserve

Sold Out: Second Harvest

 Second Harvest (Quantity Extremely Limited):

This Barbera is like a full bowl of cherries on a summer day.  Bursting with freshness, this harvest was done with love by our faith family as a wonderful act of service to Campos.

Our Second Harvest Barbera was harvested four weeks after our Gabriel Barbera was harvested giving it a deeper color and more robust flavor. This Barbera is bursting with freshness, like a full bowl of cherries on a summer day. This harvest was done with love by our Faith Family as a wonderful act of service to Campos Family Vineyards.

Estate Blend Reserve:

This Barbera and Cabernet Franc blend was aged beautifully in the barrel for two years before being bottled. She took a triple GOLD medal at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition and pairs well with steak, prime rib or just a good friend!

Forget Me Not:

Campos Family Vineyards is proud to present this beautiful Estate blend of Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Franc in honor of Sylvia who was diagnosed with Dementia at the young age of 60. Just 3 short years since her diagnosis she now walks with a shuffle to keep her balance and is not able to comprehend or carry out simple tasks that we take for granted like pouring her own glass of tea. Sylvia's family will be beside her and help her through this transition just as she had always done for us. Until one day, the sweet sunshine that radiates from her slowly sets and she says her final goodbye. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this wine will be donated to Dementia Support & Care Services.

Giving back to Dementia and Alzheimer's.

A delicate Mourvedre blend of Cabernet Franc and Barbera making the most out of a long sunset with a loved one.

Lou  :

“Lou” Estate Zinfandel, Barbera, and Petite Sirah

Sip, savor swirl the dark berries & spicy fruit mid pallet. Delicate in color, cherry blossom bouquet, medium-bodied, undertones of cherry, and blackberry, with hints of pepper and clove.  Complex, yet well-balanced, slight tannins with a long chewy finish.  Paired nicely with friends on a warm summer day. Lou pairs well with grilled steak and America’s favorite pastime, Baseball!

    Big Red Blend:

The Campos Family wanted to create an Estate blend, an everyday, easy-drinking red wine for all to enjoy.  It’s a colorful blend of 35% Petite Sirah, 60% Cab Franc & 5% Zinfandel. We added the Cab Franc as it’s a wonderful blending grape. This wine really speaks about the hearty variety of grapes on the property.  Big Red was aged in Oak and has notes of dark berry jam, plum, blackberry, and some spice. Give it a good swirl and enjoy the beautiful aromas!  Pairs well with grilled meats, burgers, salami and soft cheeses. Share Big Red with your closest friends!!

Petite Sirah, Cab Franc and Zinfandel make up this flaming red-head.  Some long lasting deep cherry flavors with a hint of spice for the finish.  A great party wine. In honor of Suzanne

    Dolce Vino:

This beautiful slightly sweet French Columbard was processed in 100% stainless native fermentation (no sulfites, yeast added) and no malo-lactic acid.  Slightly dry with residual sugar and tropical fruit notes on the finish. Delicious with a picnic of cheese, charcuterie and your favorite friends!

    Boujee:

Cheers to our 2021 Estate Cabernet Franc, an elegant wine carefully made in the semi-carbonic maceration method.

How did we do it? We started by placing whole clusters of grapes in a closed tank, leaving a bit of oxygen at the top. The oxygen helped yeast to form and ferment the released juices. The by-product of the fermentation was CO2, which forced the grapes that were still in-tact to begin to ferment inside of themselves. They eventually split open, where fermentation off-skin continued.

This method resulted in a beautiful, feminine, light-bodied wine low in acidity and tannins. It’s lively, refreshing, and fruit-forward without being overly tart. You’ll notice almost candy-like flavors of raspberry, strawberry, banana, and red Twizzlers with a soft finish.

Tease your palate with the zip and pop of this fun, flirty, Beaujolais-style wine that we affectionately call “Boujee.” Because the grapes are harvested by hand, and the winemaking process is so meticulous, we make this wine in small production.

As the name implies, this wine is for those times when you’re feeling extra luxurious - whether that’s hanging out in a bathrobe and putting on a face mask, or hosting a holiday dinner party. You do you.

    Zinfandel:

    • Varietal: Red
    • Vineyard Designation: Campos Family Vineyards
    • Bottle Size: 750ml

    Biggies:

Deeply aromatic, Biggies Bourbon Barrel aged Zinfandel has a smokey smooth profile with a hint of rye spice. Savor the warm, caramel chewy finish. The Oakey nose takes us back to a time when life was a bit more laid back. Our Biggies Bourbon Barrel Blend has been aged in Bourbon Barrels for several months.

    Judah:

Move over, cabernet sauvignon and merlot: it’s time for cabernet franc to shine. Judah is a deep, elegant cabernet franc with an earthiness and fruitiness that give unparalleled complexity. Bell pepper and tobacco are pronounced on the nose. Flavors of toasted butterscotch and raspberry dominate the palate. The wine finishes with a subtle tingle from the acidity. Don’t let the delicate color fool you - Judah is bursting with aroma and flavor. Enjoy slightly chilled on a hot summer afternoon, or let it warm you up on a cold winter day.

    Cabernet Franc Reserve:

Our Estate Cabernet Franc Reserve is much like a distinguished gentleman that has aged well! Savor his hints of spice, leather, and black cherry with a touch of Merlot that was handsomely blended for a perfectly balanced finish. Go ahead, put. your feet up and enjoy a bottle with your favorite cigar.

    Layla Rae Chardonnay:

From the Grandchildren’s cellar, Layla Rae has been in oak for 15 months.  Born with a golden clear color with a silky smooth hint of apricots and guava. Raise your glass while sitting on a beach with your eyes gazed at the glistening water or better yet, your back yard with loved ones!

    Revival:

What is Revival? It’s the restoring of life, an awakening, a renewal. Revival comes after times of stress, from the crushing and the pressing. The result is new wine - both in the natural and in the spiritual! This beautiful, unfiltered Estate Cellar blend of mourvèdre and barbera boasts a berry-infused aroma with an earthy, straight-from-the-barrel finish. The savory flavors of mourvèdre beautifully complement the fruit-forward qualities of barbera. Revival is a deep, ruby red wine that’s elegant and full-bodied with well-balanced tannins. So, grab your friends and answer this question: What is your story of Revival?

    Gabriel Barbera:

Named after our grandson Gabriel, this Barbera is a red Italian wine grape variety that, as of 2000, was the third most-planted red grape variety in Italy. It is known for deep color, low tannins and high levels of acid. CFV Barbera has notes of strawberry and sour cherry: flavors synonymous with light-bodied wines. Light tannin and high acidity make it taste juicy with fruit notes of peach, blackberry strawberry raspberry. Dark meats, cheese, sausages, pizza.

From the Grandchildren’s cellar, Our Barbera is a rockstar.  This Silky and Sexy wine starts off with a violet, silky bouquet of roses and a long chewy finish.

    Zinfandelta:

Just take a look at this wine’s funky, playful, ’70s-inspired label and you get the idea that Campos Family Vineyards owners Ric and Michelle wanted to have some fun with this delicate, slightly spicy Zinfandel wine. With its twist-off cap, it can be taken on your boat or out to the campfire for easy drinking while reminiscing about the good old days of peace, love and cool vibes. “We wanted to throw it way back to when life was easier and things were groovy,” Michelle said. “Just laid back, floating on the Delta. We live on the Delta, and the Delta is definitely in our heart, in our blood, and so we wanted to honor that with Zinfandelta.”

Contra Costa County, where Campos Family Vineyards is located, is known for its Zinfandel vines, among others. Any fan of a good Zinfandel — and those who might like to try one — will dig Zinfandelta, a gold-medal winner 2018 vintage wine. “What you’re going to pick up with the Zinfandel is the spice,” Ric said. “It’s not a big, bold one like you might get out of the Lodi region. Ours is a little more delicate and easy drinking.”
